Tamla Horsford Part Three: GBI interviews and findings

Tam and Lee on their wedding day via Facebook

Since Jose was caught accessing the files and such and was ultimately fired, people really started to raise hell. Mike Christian got into some trouble as well. It seems he had some girlfriends on the side, outside of his marriage, and was sharing crime scene photos and information with them. Tsk tsk tsk. The GBI ended up getting involved and reopened Tamla’s case. I’ll go over and show you the GBI’s interviews and show you their findings at the end. All the videos come from the Justice for Tamla Horsford/Forsyth exposed page on YouTube! https://www.youtube.com/@justicefortamlahorsfordfor686/videos Let’s start with Mike Christian’s activity of sharing sensitive case information and photos and move on to his GBI interview to get it out of the way.

Mike Christian’s GBI interview.

I’ll let you listen and decide what you think but I do want to add that Mandy called the GBI and told them that Kalin walked Jose through what to do before calling 911 that day.

I have no words for this type of shit. No words.

The next video is pretty long but I really want you all to watch it. It is a video call with Leander “Lee” Horsford. It happens on January 28, 2021, if I’m not mistaken. Grab some tissues too. It broke my heart listening to this poor man. He really loved his wife and desperately wants answers for what happened to her. After you watch it, I’ll add in some key points and such.

I immediately felt worse for Tam when he said she didn’t really want to go but didn’t want the ladies to think bad of her. Tam was really trying to form a friendship with these women. She made a Facetime call to him around 10:30 and you can see from the previous screenshot of her calls there is one that is labeled “Hubby”. He mentioned that Tam had no idea that any men would be there. He knew his wife and knew she wouldn’t have been comfortable going knowing there were men staying over as well. I mean, I have to agree there. It was said that it was a ladies only night and that’s not what happened. He said there was a video of Tam and Jenn where Tam had one foot on the ground and one foot on her shin. I showed you that video in the last post but it was only a tiny clip. Sadly, I don’t have the whole video. He said Tam’s face did not look happy and he thinks maybe a conversation turned to politics or something but that she looked upset. He knows his wife and the faces she makes. I believe him. He talked about how she could definitely hold her liquor and that she would have made it home. This man has drank with his wife countless times and he knows what she can handle. He talked about Xanax in her system and said it had not hit her liver yet. That means she had just ingested it. Remember when I said the same thing? It couldn’t have been in her system long before it started to take effect due to the alcohol. Moving along, he said the first story he was given was that she had tripped, fell into the grass and suffocated. The second story was that she fell from the balcony. Inside the funeral home is where things got nasty but also revealing. Lee said her face was “painted” black. The funeral home claimed that they had no choice due to all the bruising and injuries. Her bone still stuck out of her wrist!! On the next day, after all make up was removed, Lee took several pictures and talks about how she looked. This broke me. The defensive wounds and scratches on her arms should prove homicide. Her body at the scene looked like she was dragged by her left arm to that spot. And why was LE so damn rude to him when informing him of his wife’s death? That was cold and heartless! Michelle, Tam’s friend, was really digging into the case and pissed off those at the party that night. They sued Michelle and didn’t win, of course.

Andy Kalin GBI interview

Basically, he stated that he called Jose to ask about moving Tam’s arm to check for a pulse. He said the call wasn’t recorded since he was just calling to clarify that one thing. He’s informed that Jose says they never spoke at all and basically says that’s a lie. He was simply calling to ask if he took her pulse and how he obtained it.

Thank goodness the GBI talked to neighbors! The FCSO never did from what I could find. The first neighbor they spoke with was Mary Ann, an older lady who shoots it straight! Mary Ann said that Jeanne was the neighborhood gossip and that she was “acting” that morning. She said Jeanne fell to the ground and pretended to sob like she was so upset. She said most neighbors stayed away from Jeanne and believed something bad happened there. She claimed Jose was really weird too. She also stated that the whole group was at Jeanne’s house every night for the next 2 weeks! Her husband stated they had to be getting their stories straight and such.

The next neighbors are Blake and Chasity. Blake said he and his wife had gone out on a date that night. Upon returning, they could tell they were having a party by all the cars in the driveway and along the curb. He saw Tom and Stacy leaving the following morning, carrying a crockpot, before the cops showed up. Jeanne showed up at his door 2 days later saying she needed to explain what was going on. She gave him the story we’ve heard and said that one of the neighbors was going around saying a lady fell off her balcony and that’s just not true. She also told him that “all our videos show her going to smoke and fell and didn’t catch herself.” Videos? Remember that I told you this would come up? Those cameras were not working, according to her, but she chose to tell the neighbors they were. Which is it? Were the cameras working and she lied to law enforcement? Were the cameras really not working but told the neighbors they were? Hmmm…. He goes on to say the crockpot couple left close to 9 am when he and his wife were leaving for breakfast. That contradicts what Tom said about leaving too. To make matters even weirder….Blake went and got Chic Fil A gift cards for Jeanne to give to Tam’s husband and says he doesn’t think those gift cards ever even made it to Lee.

OK, so we’ve made it this far! I’ll address some of the rumors and speculations I’ve seen. These are just rumors online and don’t necessarily reflect what I think. The late night ice run was to actually get cocaine for Jeanne. It’s been speculated that she was the one that used cocaine and not Tam. #2 is that Stacy possibly put Xanax in Tam’s drink since Bridget commented in her interview that she “didn’t see anyone put anything in her drink.” The 3rd is that Stacy and Jeanne didn’t like Tam and people left early because of not wanting to be at the scene. Number 4 is that Tam’s defensive wounds prove a scuffle happened. Also, Tam’s shoes randomly appeared in Lee’s garage when Tom dropped off food. So maybe there’s some guilt feelings there. Fire and EMS were canceled to the scene and no one rendered any aid due to a cover up. People were allowed to collectively write statements at the scene and interviews were conducted at the house with others present to keep stories straight. And lastly, no camera footage was attempted to be obtained due to Jeanne simply saying the cameras weren’t operational. Nicole said she left at 10:30 and Sarah never mentions her at all. They supposedly spoke on the phone while driving home at the same time. Nicole never left at 10:30 since she remembers the Facetime call with Tam’s daughter at 12:32 am, so she’s lying. She also said when she left she didn’t get to say goodbye to Tam because Tam was ‘out there’.

Let’s move on to the GBI interviews of the people that were there that night, shall we? I’ll include anything I think is suspect/odd.

She brought up the weekend before, on Halloween, and said that Tam, Madeline and Diane were smoking pot under the deck and she stopped them because of Jose and his job. She replies, “Lucky me!” when discussing that the party was at her house. She sounds kinda loopy during the interview with her speech being slow and odd. She said Nicole and Sarah didn’t drink. She said that Stacy brought the blueberry vodka when Bridget said she did. She said the men came up during halftime and during the last quarter only. She also said that the guys only drank beer and that they had a cooler downstairs, but you’ll see that Tom says he came up to fix Crown and coke drinks. Jeanne brought up that Marcy had to put Jenn to bed because Jenn was having a drunk meltdown about her DUI she’d recently gotten. I’m sure you remember that video. Bridget was cleaning up the living room and kitchen, not “them” as Jose had said. She mentioned Tam wanting to go home but they all convinced her to stay. As for the next morning, she said they all (she, Jose, Jenn and Madeline) looked over the deck and saw Tam not moving. According to Jenn, she’s the first and only one on the deck. Jeanne claimed to never go down to the yard. She reiterated the position of the body and that Miller had her call everyone back. Her Arlo cameras did not record due to not being charged…big shocker!!! Yet, she told her neighbors her cameras recorded everything. She admitted Jose knew they weren’t working and he had helped turn the house upside down looking for the charger for them. She also claimed Bridget never gave her anything during her divorce or when Michelle was digging around. Then she backtracks and says Bridget did give her something during her divorce. She admits her mom paid for Tam’s funeral and plane tickets for her daughter and her boyfriend. Think about that folks!!! This family is all about bribes and such! She lied about Bridget not knowing anyone but her and about telling the neighbors she had videos of Tam’s fall. She then attempts to tear up but that didn’t last long. She adds that Jenn was up when they came down the next morning. Is your head spinning yet?? Mine sure is! The amount of lies during that interview made me sick to my stomach!

The GBI also interviewed her ex-husband, Matthew Meyers. Matthew claimed his only issues, at the time of Tam’s death, was his kids, Jeanne was unemployed and dating Jose who was a 26 year old kid. He was concerned about the decisions Jeanne was making at the time. Jeanne’s mom called him to let him know that Tam had died at Jeanne’s house the night before and he headed over there. He said Lee was calling Jeanne’s phone but she couldn’t answer, per the deputies’ orders. He had coached their son for football. He said Jeanne was upset and shaking. He mentioned that Tam was friends with Michelle but that Tam had a life completely away from her. He mentioned the deck and railing and the safety of it because he built it with the kids in mind. He said the cameras were put in because he would come and go at first because it was his house and Jeanne would get mad. He actually gave the same story as the others which is odd because he wasn’t even there that night. Here again, they all talked and got their stories straight. He even knew who stayed and who left!

Jose claims he went straight to the deck after Madeline woke them up, but Jenn claimed she was the first on the deck. In this interview it’s a pack of cigarettes and not a loose cigarette. When asked about accessing the files, he said it was his first time dealing with something like this and he was just curious. When asked about the polygraph, he says sure but later on says no. He was asked for his phone and is uneasy about it. He dances around the polygraph and phone over and over again. He actually wouldn’t shut up! He ultimately refused the polygraph and giving up the phone. The investigators kept reminding him that this would eliminate him and they wouldn’t have to obtain search warrants. They try to work with him and give him the option of making arrangements to notify people so he could turn the phone over. He eventually turns it over and then starts asking if the “phone dump” is just for this phone or the old one too. He’s trying to see if the dump will include information from his old phone. He sounds very worried and the investigator assures him that he’s only looking for anything that says “you killed her or know who did”. Jose said NO and took his phone back. Now, if that doesn’t scream guilt, I don’t know what does…in my opinion. What does Jose know? What is he so afraid of? He and Jeanne broke up in April of 2019.

GBI interview on August 3, 2020

At this time, Jose had changed phones and phone carriers. Yea, you read that right. He changed it all! When asked about moving her arm to check for a pulse he denies it and kinda blames Andy Kalin. He sounds pissed off. What do you think?

Yep, Jose refused the polygraph. If you have nothing to hide, why refuse a polygraph? Just listen to his tone and draw your own conclusions.

Let’s get into Marcy’s GBI interview! She said she got there by 8 and Tome and Jose were in the living room watching the game. Hmmm…that doesn’t add up, does it? She also said she went to bed with Jenn at 11 but remembers the Facetime call with Tam’s daughter (at 12:32 am). Hmmm…. She said she set her alarm for 5:15 but earlier said she set it for 4 am. She says the lights and TV were on and the door was closed and that she left by 5:30. That’s not what she said before! She also adds that Jenn woke up as she was leaving. I’m sorry, I thought she left by 4:15 and that Jenn didn’t wake and text her husband until 7:30. She said marijuana was brought up and Jose said, “Don’t bring that shit around here!” But Jose doesn’t recall anyone mentioning weed, right? I found it funny that she mentioned this has all been so traumatic for everyone else and then made some lovely victim type statements. In my opinion, she’s not being truthful. What do you think?

Alex Fernandez, Marcy’s boyfriend, is talked to as well. He’s upset about Michelle Graves. He says that his son was put in a picture and that Michelle and someone else says they should go kill their spawn. He’s understandably frustrated and gets irate due to his son being targeted. When it comes to children, don’t put them in the middle of chaos and such.

She states that the Halloween party was at Jeanne’s but someone said that it was at someone else’s house. She said Lee was not at the Halloween pumpkin carving party. She acts kind of spastic and ridiculous, in my opinion. She claims that Madeline is witchy, kooky and “the elevator didn’t go all the way up.” When asked about giving her Xanax to anyone she replied, “Hell no, I need them!” But as you all know, she did give them away. At one point in the interview she actually says, “I was the last person to see her kicking. Lucky me!” At 9 am Jeanne called crying and saying she had to come back because Tam was dead. She told the investigator she can’t stand to see someone bold face lie to someone.

This second interview is ridiculous!! She’s putting on such a show as the agent is just trying to present a form to sign to return her phone. She’s caught in her lies about sharing her Xanax. Her mom won’t quit trying to interfere with the discussion. It’s a damn mess and a half!

Gary, her boyfriend, was interviewed as well. He said she called around 12:30 and wanted to be picked up. He said he got there around 1:30 or so and texted he was there. She was “normal” when he picked her up, they went home and went to bed.

Jenn, on the advice of her attorney, refused to give a statement to the GBI. She said had lost her cheer coach position due to “all of this”. I’m sure it couldn’t have been because of her DUI and her drinking habits! And she was so sure she wouldn’t contradict herself but still refused to give a statement. Hmmm….

Paula immediately asks “if this is off the record” and brings up if she needs an attorney since all the others are getting attorneys. She wanted to know if this investigation was “gonna be open records”. She claims she arrived after 9:30-10 pm and they all sang happy birthday to Jeanne. She mentioned Tam doing a Facetime call with her daughter and they all said hey. She said they all went to bed at 1:15 and left at 7:45-8 am. She saw Stacy and Tam’s phones on the table so she knew they were still there. When she was told not to delete any information from her phone she began to cry and asked if she needed an attorney again. She said she took food to Lee’s house and he was in shock and had no tears. She said a friend of Lee’s, Stephen Reynolds, seemed weird and angry. She spoke about Jeanne’s mom getting food to take to Lee’s and pay for plane tickets for their family.

Key points with Tom’s interview: He states that Stacy started getting closer to Tam and they began hanging out with her and Lee in the 6 months before she passed away. Stacy said it was only the last 3-4 weeks. He says that he and Jose came up at halftime to sing happy birthday and went back downstairs. He said they only came up twice afterwards to make drinks. He goes on to give pretty much the same account as others. He agrees that Jenn was very drunk and that she was the only one extremely intoxicated. He knew that Tam had drank quite a bit but there was no stumbling or anything like that. He claims that she and Lee both like to drink and have a good time. This supports what Lee said as well. He and Stacy went to bed by 1:30 and everyone retired around the same time except Tam and Bridget. He said he got up about 6:50 am and left just before 8. That’s not true. The neighbor saw them leave at 9 am. He also stated that the TV in the living room was off. Multiple people said it was on. He did say he left with a crockpot and was driving a white Audi, just as the neighbor claimed.

I know these interviews are rather long and I’m sorry but I really wanted you to hear what these people have to say vs just reading my summation of them. So Stacy started off saying she was hanging out with Tam for the last 3-4 weeks before her death. Hmmm…Her husband said 6 months. She claimed Tam was seeking new friends because her usual circle was bad. She said the first time they hung out was at a game and on the way to meet at dinner, Tam and Lee got into an argument where she put him out of the car on the side of 400. She said he had a buddy working there and he’d be fine. She also mentioned that after dinner they went back to her place and Tam talked about some trouble she got into in Florida with a gang. I can’t find any truth to this and wouldn’t be surprised if it’s completely fabricated. If it is the truth, it’s still no reason for what happened to Tam. Moving on the night in question, she says Tam came late but had a good reason. She claimed Tam had stopped by her friend’s house that was going through a crappy divorce. Lee claimed she was at home making a breakfast casserole for all her children before she left and that’s why she was late. She verified that Tam had weed and admitted to taking a puff but says that Jeanne got angry about Tam having it so Tam put it away. Bridget’s necklace was brought up that she carried medications in but she didn’t know if she gave any to Tam. She and Tom heard nothing through the night, even though their window faced the backyard. When Tam mentioned wanting to go home, Tom convinced her to stay. Stacy cried at the end of the video when asked if she did anything to Tam or saw anything. That struck me as odd.

Pay attention here. Stacy is caught lying and will continue to be caught lying. She claimed she got Xanax from Bridget in December of 2018 when her god-daughter died. She was then asked about the morning of and evening of Tam’s death and receiving Xanax from Bridget. She denies it but is told there is a text proving she did. She changed her tone quickly! I don’t think she expected to get caught in that lie! Oh and being late to the party was because she had stopped at Michelle Graves’ home to comfort her.

I guess Stacy has some explaining to do! Taylor was never her god-daughter and she never planned her funeral! The lies are piling up here!

The next interview was with Madeline, the ‘aunt’ of Jeanne. Actually she’s just best friends with Jeanne’s mom. Anyway, she goes over the evening and the next morning about the same as she did before. She says the first time she ran upstairs that morning she thought she heard water running so she went back downstairs. On her next trip upstairs, she spoke to Jose and Jeanne. She makes the statement, “No one moved her but I didn’t go outside with Jose.” Hmmm…

Now I already included some disgusting messages from Mike Christian. One of his girlfriends talked and told the GBI about him sharing sensitive information in cases, particularly Tam’s case. She claims he called and told her, “There’s some black, dead lady in someone’s backyard.” He was sending her Snapchats while he was actually at the scene that day. He even sent her a picture of Tam’s body laying on the ground that morning. He told her that he didn’t think she fell from that deck and mentioned her wrist being broken and said her body had obviously been moved. He said there was no way she fell like that! He also said he thought Jose called Andy Kalin before calling 911. He felt that her death was accidental and the people at the party panicked. He felt there was a cover-up happening. Think about it. This woman has nothing to gain. Mike could talk to her without the heat from the media or the department. He could be honest with what he felt was really going on without worrying about backlash. He didn’t have to watch what he said or worry about what the public might say. He was more than likely honest with her.

And finally, here’s the summary of the case from the GBI

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xje4n8iiVXhvG3HSQkN7P4die4b4riqY/view

Well, there you have it. What do you think? Did she simply fall from the deck? Did she trip over the gardening border and suffocate? Did something more sinister happen? Let me know!

Tamla Horsford Part Two: FCSO interviews and findings

Group picture from that night via Facebook

After law enforcement arrived, Jeanne was instructed to get everyone back to her house for statements. This is where things get muddy, in my opinion. These women and men were not separated. They were allowed to talk and mingle and discuss the evening. And you’ll notice, the dates on their “interviews” were well after that day of the 4th. It just seems like they shut this case when they left that day before noon.

Jeanne, in the middle, and her buddies sporting their DD face masks via Facebook

We’ll start with Jeanne Meyers’ interview on November 9, 2018. It’s immediately addressed that she gave Forsyth County deputies and investigators gift cards to Dunkin Donuts and that they can’t accept them. She actually giggles and says, “My kids will take ’em!” When asked about the evening of her party, she says that Tam arrived at 8:30 pm and brought a bottle of tequila as a gift for her. The way she says the word ‘gift’ is just snotty! She said Tam insisted that she try it because it was from Mexico. Jeanne said she smelled it, threw up in her mouth and said no! Jeanne said Tam offered it to other people because “she’s the life of the party and is always the life of the party.” Here again, her tone is just snobby and jealous, in my opinion. It seems like she tried to control the interview too. She claims that Tam was going to sleep upstairs in her oldest son’s room. The next morning her aunt, Madeline, went outside and saw Tam lying face down in the grass. Madeline came back in and prayed immediately. She then went upstairs and woke up Jeanne and Jose. She called 911 outside and Jose touched Tam’s back and tried to bend her leg. Both of Tam’s arms were by her side. She says, “Looked like she face planted.” Jeanne said that Jose seeing Tam’s wedding ring made it personal. I’m not quite sure what she meant by that statement. Personal?? The whole situation should be personal with someone dying while at a party you attended. Jeanne saw the cut on her wrist. She talked about fussing at Tam for smoking weed on the deck with Jose there. She goes on to mention some wondering if Tam did cocaine and commented that Tam partied hard a lot. She said Tam wanted to go home but they told her no and stated that Tam didn’t even seem drunk at all. At the end of the interview she begins complaining about Tam’s family and friends. She said they posted on Facebook as Tam saying, “I loved you all.” and she is pissed off about it. I want to add in that she hired an attorney to stop people (mainly Michelle, a friend of Tam’s) from talking about the case and then sold her home to a deputy, Deputy Reeves. The guarantee on the loan was her mother, Sharon Petitt.

interview with Jose Barrera on November 9, 2018 with FCSO via Justice for Tamla Horsford/Forsyth exposed on YouTube

I’ll point out key things to remember and pay attention to for later on. Jose states that after halftime he and Tom remained upstairs for the rest of the evening. It’ll be said later that he and Tom went back downstairs for most of the night and either didn’t come up except for small time frames or they only came up to fix anther mixed drink. He says at the end of the evening ‘they’ cleaned up the kitchen and such. Later on it is said that Bridget was the only one to clean up. He states that Jenn was the most intoxicated there. They ALL say this multiple times. He says that Jeanne was the last to have a conversation with Tam, according to Jeanne, but that he never saw or heard it. It’s said by others that Bridget and Tam were the last ones up together. He claims to have tapped Tam’s back and checked her twice-once before and once during the 911 call. He says he moved Tam’s leg and that it wouldn’t bend due to being stiff. Now, this is 9 am and the last time Tam is seen in 1:47 (7 hours in between). You’ll see this later on and I’ll provide information about rigor. He also claims that both her arms were by her side and that he doesn’t know who moved her arm. He brings up that when he went onto the deck to look over, there was a loose cigarette and lighter on the ground that he picked up and put on the fire pit. He recalled her Facetime call with her daughter which was at 12:32 am, I believe. He gave the scenario that maybe she was sitting on the deck railing and then brought up the propane tank saying she may have stood on it and went over.

Let’s go to Nicole Lawson. Her interview with FCSO was on November 9, 2018. She says she met Tam that night for the first time. She says she got there early around 6 pm and that Tam arrived between 8-8:30. She claims she didn’t drink and left around 10:30 pm, right after Paula arrived. She said the next morning she went to the gym, came back home and got the call about Tam. She brought up the tequila that Tam brought and said everyone passed it around and smelled it while Tam was outside and said it stunk real bad. She remembered that Tam had a Facetime call with her daughter as well. Now, this is strange! How did she leave at 10:30 if they all said hey to her daughter on the Facetime call at 12:32 am?

video via Justice for Tamla Horsford/Forsyth exposed on You Tube
Marcy’s second interview by phone via Justice for Tamla Horsford/Forsyth exposed on YouTube

Marcy Hardin was interviewed on November 14, 2018 by FCSO. Marcy said she arrived between 7:30-8 pm and had never met Tam before that night. She claims to have gone to bed with Jenn around 12:30. She said she set her alarm for 4 am to get up for work. She then got a text from Jenn between 8-9 about Tam and went straight back over there. When asked about how Tam seemed she responded that she was happy, normal, laughing and having a good time. She brought up that they all called her daughter and said “hi” on a Facetime call. She said when she left the next morning, the TV in the living room was still on and the front door was unlocked. If she was up for the call to Tam’s daughter, she went to sleep after 12:30. Setting her alarm for 4 am is odd because she had to be at work at 10:30 am. When the investigator asked about that, she actually said, “Is it a crime to get up and leave early?” She also asked, “What’s going on with the case?” They explained they were expecting to close the case that day. She wanted to know what time they were closing it and announcing it to the public. Does that strike anyone as odd behavior? And why get up six and half hours early for work?

Above is the first interview with Bridget Fuller on November 11, 2018. I’ll lay out some of the details to keep in mind, although I think the video speaks for itself while listening to Bridget. She seems very narcissistic and rather nutty, in my opinion. When asked about that night she goes into claiming she’s a “mother hen” and that her main priority is children. I don’t even have words for that statement. She then claims Tam liked her because she had a few drinks but kept her wits about her. She talked about the weekend before boasting about herself that probably made you roll your eyes. I loved the statement that ‘she’s a perfect friend’ too. She named Jeanne and her boss as her best friends and claimed to have no downfalls. She talks about Tam plopping on her while she’s on the couch and says that that picture is in there. She talked about being overwhelmed by Jenn due to her being so drunk. She goes on to say she doesn’t sleep at strange people’s houses. Bridget said she has trust issues too. I’m wondering why she would say that if she named Jeanne as one of her two best friends. Why would she feel uneasy staying at her best buddy’s house? Anyway, she talks about calling her boyfriend, Gary, to pick her up and Tam eating gumbo before she leaves. She literally states she left at 1:45 ish, give or take a few seconds. She then calls out the times that the back door opened and such after she left. I guess Jose or Jeanne gave her that information, huh? She talks about the back door being left open and gives reasons. Why does she do that? Another odd statement was, “Tam hugged and kissed me so my DNA will be all over those jammies.” The information she has after she left came from Jose. She even said that Tam used the propane tank to stand on. Think about that! They’ve all got a story to stick to it seems. She then flirts a bit and talks about her previous marriages after she was politely asked to stick to only the info she knows first hand about that evening. She also brings up her own slurred speech and claims it’s due to medication. She actually sounds so messed up during this whole interview.

Here’s a phone call for a follow up interview with Bridget. She answered and was shocked and speechless! I actually giggled! This woman and her ‘medication’. Keep in mind she says, again, that she never gave anyone Xanax and that she cannot lie! Lawd have mercy. She also says that Tam straddled her and grabbed her boobs. That’s not what she said during her first interview. She got very defensive during this call and then said she didn’t give her anything or “see anything put in her drink.” HUH?! Why in the hell would she say that? It sounds like when she gets defensive and starts rambling she says more than she means to.

Jennifer Morrell is next. I have an interview from FCSO that shows her DUI during the video. I also have a few videos from the party and her DUI arrest, which all came from YouTube on the Justice for Tamla Horsford/Forsyth exposed page. Grab your popcorn.

Jenn dancing or something
Jenn with her legs in the air
Jenn’s FCSO interview

November 19, 2018- She admitted to having a good bit of wine since her husband dropped her off for the night. She then says she went to bed at 1 am. Remember that. She goes on to say that when she got up no one else was awake. She then says she sees Jose, Jeanne and Madeline running down the stairs looking panicked. She gives roughly the same account of what was seen after that, except she says Jose went down to the basement first. He said he went immediately to the deck first, picked up the loose cigarette and lighter and then looked over the deck. She then provides her texts with her husband that morning that show when she texted him about coming to get her and such. He got there just as 911 was being called. LE told him if he didn’t want to wait for hours he may as well leave for a bit. At the end of the interview she says something that I caught. She said that when she went to go out on the deck that morning, as all the stuff was happening, the door was already open a few inches when she touched it. If she was the first one on the deck, why did Jose lie about being out there first?

Jenn’s DUI arrest video

Moving on to Sarah Cockerham. Her interview was on November 14, 2018 with FCSO. This was a quick one so I’ll just sum it up. Sarah came over with appetizers from Chili’s around 7:30 pm. Tam arrived around 8:30 and they watched football and socialized. It was her first time meeting Tam. Sarah had 2 glasses of wine and left around 10:30 that evening. She says that Tam was nice, happy and energetic. Tam was very excited about the bottle of tequila she had brought over. Sarah said she mostly watched football and drove herself home. All I ask that you keep in mind here is the time she left and what she did not say. She left around 10:30 and drove herself home but never mentions Nicole leaving at the same time as she did or them talking on the way home. Nicole is definitely lying, in my opinion.

Paula Seals FCSO interview was also on November 14, 2018. She arrived after 9:30 pm and everyone was eating gumbo, watching football and drinking. They played a card game until midnight and she went to bed at 1:30. She left around 7:30-7:45 the next morning, which is about the time Jenn had first texted her husband. She remembered the call with Tam’s daughter (12:32 am). She said Jenn was extremely intoxicated. Lord, they all say this!! She was in bed at 1:45 because she texted Stacy but Stacy never responded. She mentioned that she called a friend, Diane, the next day and Diane asked her if Tam was doing coke. Diane wasn’t even at the party. Why would she ask that?

Tom Smith’s interview with FCSO via Justice for Tamla Horsford/Forsyth exposed on YouTube

Tom arrived separately from his wife, Stacy. He went and got ice with Jose during half time. I don’t remember Jose or anyone else mentioning this trip. He said everyone hung out and he and Stacy went to bed around 1:30 am. He woke up at 7:30 and they left around 8:30. He noticed Tam’s car still in the driveway and noted it because Tam had expressed she wanted to leave the night before and he told her to stay there to be safe and not drive. He said he’d known Tam and her husband for about 4 years.

Stacy’s interview with FCSO was pretty much the same. She said the next morning, when they came down to leave, she was glad to see Tam’s phone meaning that Tam had decided to stay and not try to drive home after drinking. She said Tom got the call after they’d left and he said, “Tam’s hurt. We gotta go back.” She tried to tear up at the end of the interview but it just sounded like a lot of sniffling and such, to me.

Key parts of this interview will be noted here. Madeline says that Nicole was the first to arrive at 4:30. Huh? This is NOT the time Nicole gave. She also claims that Bridget and her husband arrived and that everyone was in the living room watching the game. She then mentions taking the picture of all the ladies on the couch that night. She never said that Gary, Bridget’s husband, dropped her off or left. She simply stated that they arrived and the party commenced. She mentions the men coming up at half time and going to get ice. After this she went to bed and woke up at 8:30 to make herself some coffee. She walked by the window, not outside like it was said before, and saw Tam’s pajamas. She didn’t start the coffee, instead she hit her knees and prayed. That seems strange to me. She calls Tam the “friend from the islands” and that is weird to me too. She states she woke up Jenn after telling Jose and Jeanne that Tam is face down in the yard. Jenn stated she was already up! Who is lying?? Jeanne then walks in DURING THE INTERVIEW IN HER LIVING ROOM and says, “I’m gonna start charging y’all rent! And I just went and got gift cards!” Madeline then replies, “And I just made them cookies!” What the hell is going on here?! Gift cards and baking cookies during interviews? Jeanne’s mom, you’ll see later on, threatening to sue if things don’t go her way? It looks pretty bad when you do things like this to win over law enforcement. Jeanne then says from the background, “Do you need me or can I go get ready for this funeral?” That is such a shitty thing to say and by all means, listen to her tone! It’s ridiculous! Anyway, later on in the interview, Madeline says she thought that maybe Tam had tripped and fell and mentioned she leaves that light on for people’s safety. Jeanne interrupts the interview again telling Madeline she has to pick up the kids. Draw your own conclusions listening to how Jeanne speaks to others. I’m honestly sick of hearing her voice at the moment.

Well, this is the gist of the interviews from the FCSO. I’ll include here, at the end of this post, any images I think you need to see and the FCSO’s findings. Think about what you’ve heard and read and let me know what you think! Thanks for reading!

A picture taken right after Tam’s funeral showing happy, smiling faces. What do they have to be so happy about??? They just buried a “friend”.

Tamla Horsford

Tamla Horsford was a 40 year old vivacious woman with an amazing husband and 6 beautiful children. They moved to Forsyth County, Georgia for her husband’s career. She was very active and involved with her children’s school and sports they participated in. She and Leander, her husband, would attend games and such cheering on their boys with pride! In the summer/fall of 2018, Tamla began socializing with some of the other parents within their sports circle. She was making new friends and getting that “mom break” we all desperately need sometimes! But on a seemingly innocent night of fun, drinking, celebrating a birthday and watching football, things turned tragic.

Tam was invited to the home of Jeanne Meyers, located at 4450 Woodlet Court, Cumming, GA, on the night of November 3, 2018.

Jeanne was celebrating her birthday and wanted to watch the LSU game. It was supposed to be a slumber party for just the ladies. Show up, eat, drink, watch football, have fun, put on your pajamas and spend the night! Two men, however, decided they would stay in the basement watching football out of the ladies’ way. The night seemed to go just fine until a gruesome discovery was made the following morning…Tam was deceased in the backyard.

Witness/People at the party

  • Jeanne Meyers – Homeowner
  • Jose Barrera – Boyfriend of Jeanne
  • Nicole Lawson
  • Marcy Hardin
  • Bridget Fuller
  • Michael Pallerino
  • Jennifer Morrell
  • Sarah Cocerham
  • Paula Seals
  • Thomas Smith
  • Stacy Smith
  • Madeline Lombardi – Jeanne’s aunt who lives at the house.

Jeanne Meyers called 911 at 8:59 on the morning of November 4, 2018. She then passed the phone to her boyfriend, Jose Barrera. At the time, Jose worked for Forsyth County as a probation officer. Listen to what each of them said during the call and feel free to listen 2-3 times. Listen to their tone. Listen to their demeanor. Let’s break it down real quick and see what we get.

Jeanne was very calm, collective and had no panic in her voice. She immediately went into alibi mode, giving an account of the night before. She then went straight into giving a “story” of what happened to Tam. She makes the comment that she is “stiff”. She quickly hands the phone off to Jose. He introduced himself and sounded very authoritative. He answered that she’s not moving and not breathing, completely face down in the yard and stiff. He made a statement pointing to the fact that he hasn’t turned her over. How did he know she wasn’t breathing? He’s then asked to actually check to see if she is breathing or not. The dispatcher knew he hadn’t checked for breathing or any signs of life. He gives the same story about last night that Jeanne gave. He mentioned he was the last to see her awake. He’s incredibly calm and collected as well during the call. He took a moment to mention that his girlfriend has cameras on the back deck that would’ve caught the incident. You will see later on that he knew, way beforehand, that those cameras weren’t working/recording! He also gave two scenarios of what happened. He said she either fell from the deck or was already ‘down here’ and fell. When asked if everyone that attended the party was still present, he said that 4 people had left already and that the alarm system (it’s separate from the cameras) would show the doors open/close times. The call ended as Deputy Miller is the fist to arrive on the scene.

The bulk of the “story” is that some of the ladies left that night and the few that stayed pretty much went to bed at the same time. Tam and Bridget were the last ones up on the main level. Bridget’s boyfriend was picking her up though. He arrived and she left at 1:47 am. Tam was supposedly having one cigarette and going to bed. She opened the back door at 1:49, the door closed at 1:50 and opened again at 1:57 but remained open. That’s it. Makes no sense does it? The “meat” of the evening will come from the individual interviews that I will address in the next post. Some of them match certain times and such and some don’t. After reading all their interviews and listening to them, if you choose to do so, it will make much more sense.

Let’s view the crime scene, evidence and autopsy. Here is the backyard of 4450 Woodlet Court. The railing that Mike Christian is leaning on is the main floor of the home and the deck that Tam would come out onto to smoke during the party. The ground level door is considered the basement door by Jeanne’s security system.

From the top rail to the ground is 14 feet 10 1/2 inches. From the deck to the top rail is 3 feet 1 inch. The rail width is 5 inches. Tam, according to the witnesses, was face down in the grass, legs straight out and arms by her side with her palms facing up. That is an extremely awkward position! Face down. Legs straight. Both arms at her side and palms facing up. Who falls down like that? Could she have been placed like that? Crime scene photos also cause an issue because her left arm is not in the position others claimed. The propane tank, in the photo above, on the deck appeared to have had the buildup of dirt removed per FCSO report.

The tequila bottle Tam brought had 1/8 left and Tam is the only one that drank from it, according to the attendees. At 11:05 law enforcement checked for post mortem changes. Rigor and lividity were both present. Her body was cold to the touch. LE left the scene at 11:42 am. The evidence markers, EM, were placed at the scene. EM 1 and 2 were placed at divots in the ground. EM 3 was placed at the location of the victim’s head. EM 4 was placed at an unknown substance in the grass.

The autopsy was performed on November 6, 2018 at 1300 hrs.

There were no breaks or fractures to the face. There were blunt force injuries to the head and neck. Abrasions were to the right side of her forehead, left upper eyelid, bridge of her nose, right temple and chin. There was bleeding at the right temple/scalp area, subarachnoid hemorrhage(bleeding into the space between the brain and thin tissues covering it), subdural hemorrhage (blood leaking and collecting in the space between the brain’s surface and its outermost covering), partial atlanto-occupital dislocation (the skull has partially separated from the top vertebra in the neck), and a non-displaced linear fracture of the 2nd cervical vertebra (a crack in the neck bone).

A 3/4 inch laceration of the right ventricle of the heart, right wrist dislocation, 1 inch laceration and protrusion of the right wrist, abrasions to the left forearm, tip of left index finger, right lower leg and left lower leg were noted.

THC, alcohol (.238) and Xanax were detected and noted in her toxicology report. The cause of death was listed as multiple blunt force injuries. The manner of death was listed as an accident from a fall. Xanax works quickly with effects taking place within 30-60 minutes and peak concentration at 1-2 hours. Based on that and the amount of alcohol in Tam’s system, she had to have been given Xanax no later than 1 am, in my opinion.

What do you think so far? Does this resemble a fall from the deck? If we believe she was the only one left awake at the party, do we also believe she climbed up that railing and went over the side? If we go with the first story given, do we think she was on the ground level and tripped over that 1 inch metal border at the wood chips and just face planted the ground?

What do you think of the position of her body? If everyone says her hands were straight back by her side with palms facing up, how did her left arm end up in the position it was photographed in? How about the injuries to her head? Is it possible she was assaulted and then dragged to the spot she found?

The next post will go through the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office interviews and findings.
